  • This engine was taken out of service in 1999 at the Toronto Int’l Airport as a crash rescue apparatus. It has been in service since then as a crash rescue engine for wildland fire helibase and air support operations, on contract to the U.S. Forest Service, in the western United States, on large wildland fire incidents. This engine is also capable of fighting both ground and structural fires.
  • The engine has some equipment upgrades/additions while under its current ownership; including a FoamPro 1601 type “A” metered foam injection system and tank, which was to supplement the existing Nordic type “B”, or AFFF foam injection system. In addition to the factory installed, roof mounted 3” cab operated roof turret, an Akron, bumper mounted, cab remote controlled turret was added, which is air/electric controlled, by joystick. An air operated/controlled 1” hosereel has been added to the rear of the truck, for another discharge off the rear, as well as for wildland fire applications. This rear hosereel can hold up to 275’ of 1” hose.
  • This truck comes with all of the original documentation, including an operators' manual, a service and repair manual, as well as a complete parts manual. Documentation of current annual inspection, as well as contact information for Sean Garner, can be provided upon request.
